Das Umsatzvolumen der Rahmenvereinbarungen in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz (DACH), die wesentlich sind für die weitere Geschäftsentwicklung des Bereichs Fahrgastinformationssysteme und sich jeweils über mehrere Jahre erstrecken, beläuft sich über die gesamte Laufzeit in Summe auf bis zu 50 Mio. Euro.

Unter anderem übernimmt Funkwerk für die Deutsche Bahn (DB AG) die Entwicklung, Lieferung und den Service einer neuen Generation von Zuginfomonitoren, die auf Bahnsteigen und in Empfangsgebäuden installiert werden. Der Rahmenvertrag über eine Laufzeit von mindestens vier Jahren umfasst verschiedenste Anzeigervarianten und Vitrinen. Ziel der DB ist es, bis 2030 alle Bahnsteiganzeiger zu modernisieren und den Reisenden sowohl bestmögliche Kundeninformation zur Verfügung zu stellen als auch papierlose Bahnsteige zu ermöglichen.

Von der BLS AG, dem zweitgrößten Bahnunternehmen in der Schweiz, wurde Funkwerk mit der Neuentwicklung der landesweit installierten Kundeninformationssysteme beauftragt, die in den nächsten Jahren ausgetauscht werden. Dafür werden zwei individuell konzipierte Komponenten entwickelt: Eine Stele mit Monitor und eine Säule, die eine Text-to-Speech-Funktion sowie einen Taster für Bedarfshalte (Halt auf Verlangen) beinhaltet. Beide Systeme werden in mehreren Varianten geliefert und in das Eisenbahnnetz der BLS AG integriert. Neben der Entwicklung umfasst das Projekt, das noch im laufenden Jahr startet und bis mindestens 2026 läuft, auch die Wartung und den Support der Kundeninformationssysteme.

Für Bahnhöfe der Österreichischen Bundesbahnen (ÖBB) entwickelt, produziert und installiert Funkwerk rund 2.800 für den Außenbereich geeignete Informationsstelen. Die digitalen Systeme zeigen verschiedene Mobilitätsinformationen und Auskünfte zum Bahnhof an. Auch diese Rahmenvereinbarung, die einen Zeitraum von acht Jahren umfasst, sichert die Auslastung des Geschäftsbereichs Fahrgastinformationssysteme.

The sales volume of the framework contracts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH), which are essential for the further business development of the Passenger Information Systems division and each extend over several years, amounts to a total of up to 50 million euros over the entire term.

Among other things, Funkwerk will take over the development, delivery and service of a new generation of train information monitors for Deutsche Bahn (DB AG), which will be installed on platforms and in reception buildings. The framework contract, which will run for at least four years, covers a wide range of display variants and showcases. DB’s goal is to modernise all platform displays by 2030 and to provide passengers with both the best possible customer information and paperless platforms.

BLS AG, the second largest railway company in Switzerland, has commissioned Funkwerk with the redevelopment of the customer information systems installed throughout the country, which will be replaced over the next few years. Two individually designed components will be developed for this purpose: A pillar with monitor and a pillar that includes a text-to-speech function as well as a push-button for on-demand stops (stop on demand). Both systems will be delivered in several variants and integrated into the railway network of BLS AG. In addition to the development, the project, which will start this year and run until at least 2026, also includes the maintenance and support of the customer information systems.

Funkwerk develops, produces and installs around 2,800 information pillars suitable for outdoor use for stations of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB). The digital systems display various mobility information and information about the station. This framework agreement, which covers a period of eight years, also ensures the capacity utilisation of the Passenger Information Systems business unit.
