The European Train Control System (ETCS) is the control and monitoring system for trains operated by European railway operators. A specification in the form of the Chinese Train Control System (CTCS) applies to the Chinese market. Our RIU-ETCS radio data unit is our mobile solution for your ETCS/CTCS applications, consisting of two completely independent radio modems with GSM-R Mobile Terminations MT and associated power supply modules. Our RIU is available as a modular system with up to four independent EDOR units. An optional data logger is available for recording data from the radio modules.

With the CRLT.50, Funkwerk has developed a 5G-based cab radio. The compact next-generation cab radio is used in modern mobile and railway communication systems (5G). It is housed in a standard double DIN housing and offers telephony and data services including the option of operating MCX applications.
