Nuremberg, 27 June 2023 - Integrated security solutions - holistically designed, planned with many years of expertise, realised across manufacturers: Funkwerk Security Solutions GmbH offers state-of-the-art security technology for transport infrastructure, industry, authorities and KRITIS companies. Funkwerk Security Solutions GmbH emerged from the merger of Funkwerk video systeme GmbH and Funkwerk vipro.sys GmbH in 2023.

Based on our many years of expertise in video technology, with the video management software posa.palleon® and the high-performance pan/tilt head Platon®NEO, we at Funkwerk video systeme GmbH have been designing and implementing customised video security solutions for authorities, critical infrastructures and companies with special security requirements for many years. These include complete solutions for the optimisation and digitalisation of transport infrastructure processes.

With the acquisition of vipro.sys GmbH in 2021, we have expanded Funkwerk AG's solution expertise to include vipro.gms®, one of the most advanced hazard management systems on the German market. Vipro.gms makes it possible to implement intelligent solutions from a wide range of segments such as video systems, intrusion and fire alarm systems, access and billing systems or information and public address systems for integrated management in control centres or operations centres.

Funkwerk vipro.sys GmbH was merged with Funkwerk video systeme GmbH with retroactive effect from 1 January 2023 in order to make even better use of the resulting synergy potential and support further growth in our Security division. At the same time, the resulting company will be renamed Funkwerk Security Solutions GmbH. This will not result in any changes for our existing customer projects and business relationships.

Funkwerk Security Solutions GmbH focuses on the development of holistic IP-based security solutions with corresponding planning, integration, project management and maintenance services. We can build on a wide range of experience with complex security technology projects for transport infrastructure, from railways, motorways and waterways to airports, for critical infrastructure companies, banks, public authorities and industrial customers. In the coming years, we will strengthen Funkwerk Security Solutions GmbH with targeted investments in sales, the development of our posa.palleon® and vipro.gms® software platforms and strategic partnerships in order to better fulfil customer expectations of a system house for integrated security solutions.
