Dr Andreas Schmid resigns from the Executive Board of Funkwerk AG

Kölleda, 18 November 2019 - Dr Andreas Schmid, a full member of the Executive Board of Funkwerk AG since 1 August 2018, will leave the company's Executive Board by mutual agreement on 31 December 2019 in order to take on a new professional challenge. The Supervisory Board unanimously accepted Dr Schmid's resignation and approved a termination agreement.

Dr Schmid, who was responsible for the Video Systems and Internet of Things business units on the Executive Board of Funkwerk AG, will be succeeded from 1 January 2020 until further notice by Ms Kerstin Schreiber, who has been a member of the Executive Board of Funkwerk AG since 2013 and successfully managed the company alone from April 2014 to July 2018 in cooperation with the managing directors of the subsidiaries.
