Kölleda, 10 July 2025 - The Annual General Meeting of Funkwerk AG elected Lutz Weiler as a new member of the company's Supervisory Board on 8 July 2025. He takes over the position from Dr Michael Radke, who has chaired the company's Supervisory Board since 2017 and did not stand for re-election as he would not be available for the entire new term of office due to his age. The company would like to thank Dr Radke for his many years of work and his contribution to the success of Funkwerk AG. The Supervisory Board members Johann Schmid-Davis and Dr Oliver Maaß, whose mandates also expired at the end of the Annual General Meeting, were re-elected by the Annual General Meeting.
Lutz Weiler has many years of expertise in the field of corporate finance. Among other things, he worked for Dresdner Bank AG (now Commerzbank AG) for 13 years, where he focussed mainly on financing companies on the capital market. In 1999, he moved into self-employment as co-founder and CEO of equinet Bank AG, which has since been merged into Pareto Securities, Norway. After almost 40 active years in investment banking, he left Pareto in 2024 and has been a Senior Financial Advisor ever since. He is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Capitell AG and Westend Bank AG.
At the constituent meeting of the Supervisory Board of Funkwerk AG held directly after the Annual General Meeting, Lutz Weiler was elected Chairman of the Board.
